This is my official attempt in creating a reader-inspiring blog concerning a topic that I feel is important in our society today, specifically in an educational aspect: the incorporation of hip-hop into the classroom as an attempt to further inspire and reach our students. My goal in writing this blog is to discover the positive and negative aspects of incorporating this genre into the classroom. More importantly, I want to see if there are other people out in the world with this same idea that are already implementing it. I want to see their results. In short, I want to find a way to increase student interest and excitement about learning and I’m hoping that using hip-hop could help. Not a bad start here. I like your title, template, and the way you include RSS syndication. Be sure to list the complete class blogroll on the sidebar sometime soon.
It looks like you have a lot of potential topics here. You’ll need to focus on one in particular and attempt to connect it to the content of our course. NCLB would work; hip-hop (and its appearance in more conventional literary forms like poetry and novels) would also be cool. I even think there is a new genre of YA novel written by/about the hip-hop life.
As much as I hope OBama does indeed run, you’ll need to be a little more relevant in your future posts, or make the connections you see a bit more clear
